Patient Initiated Follow-Up (PIFU)
As of 1st January 2026 we will be introducing a PIFU system.
A Patient Initiated Follow-Up or (PIFU) is provided to you by your physiotherapist when you are discharged. It’s purpose is to allow you to come back and see your physiotherapist any time in the first 6 months after discharge, for the same condition. If your symptoms do not improve or get worse and you need further advice, you can book a follow-up appointment using the below contact details:

If your last appointment was more than 6 months ago, or you would like to be seen for a different musculoskeletal issue, you will need a new referral.
