SelfBack

Your personal back pain support app.

As part of our triage process or during a face-to-face consultation an experienced physiotherapist will assess whether you’re suitable for our new SelfBack program. If selected, you’ll gain access to a trusted, NICE-approved app designed to support your recovery from back pain.

What is SelfBack?

SelfBack is a clinically approved app that creates a personalised self-management plan based on your responses. It empowers you to take an active role in your recovery and has helped many patients achieve results comparable to in-person physiotherapy. More information can be found on the SelfBack website here: selfback.dk/en/home

Clinical Evidence

Since its addition at AHP Suffolk, users have reported an average decrease in pain scores from 6/10 to 2/10, after 3 months of use. Furthermore, very few patients who have used SelfBack required a subsequent Patient Initiated Follow-Up (PIFU) in the first 6 months of treatment.
